7 Reasons the world will NOT end in 2012

Published by Maien at 9:36 am under General, Myths Edit This

This article is an attempt to show the fallacy behind rumors that world will end in 2012. This rumor is spread by few “blind religious followers and trolls, TV channels” on some of the popular internet forums & social networks.

Myth 1: Mayan calendar
Just because they created fancy architectures and accurate lunar cycle calculation makes them accurate predictor for everything around universe? In that case, why that civilization failed to survive? They could have developed some better techniques to save their own civilization, isn’t it?

What about those calendars which are started after Mayan calendar, they predicted end of their calculation in some xxx? lol. Let’s ask Mayan calendar publisher and today’s calendar publisher association to settle for the patent of “date of end of the world”. That will help us get the idea of exact date of extinction of this planet.

Myth 2: Sun Storms
According to this myth, solar experts (? which and from where never mentioned by this troll) says that 2012 earth will be bombarded with solar radiation. Hmm, so as per this myth earth’s temperature in 2009 would have been increased to 70 degrees by now isn’t it? Habitat on earth was supposed to end in summer 2009 due to radiation bombardment. But this is not the case today, so what happened to the prediction of anonymous solar experts? I think they failed with their hypothesis.

Myth 3: The atom smasher
People are taking reference from Dan brown’s “Angels & Daemons” for this myth. They think such atom smasher could create black hole which will eat the earth in no time.
If such case is there, then during prototyping these black holes could have eaten the whole CERN team isn’t it? Then who is conducting experiment in CERN labs if that team experienced black hole consumed their team members? lol. Again how myth preachers came up with this theory and what mathematics is behind this theory is mystery to rational society. So those who think LHC is dangerous, needs to revise their particle physics and have to get out of their religious “creator based theories” shell if they wish to oppose any science experiment with practical reasoning.

Myth 4: The BIBLE says.
I don’t want to comment on this myth as religious folks will be turned off with this. But point to be noted here is BIBLE is written by humans not god. So humans can make mistake in writing illusive poetry. As we’ve already seen there are many fallacies within most of holy books like BIBLE and others.

Myth 5: Super volcano
“Yellowstone national park of America which has thermal spring and old-faithful geyser” will not be responsible for the end of earth in 2012. Geologists are taking frequent observations for it. And as per their views no such eruption is likely to occur in 2012.

Myth 6: The physicists
With Reference of physicists from Berkeley University that they think earth will end in 2012. As per their theory, they used maths to calculate end of humans. My reaction to this is: WOW. No names of those professors are mentioned, no mathematical formulae’s are released to science forums to verification. How myth preachers expect physicists to calculate death of earth then? Complete Hoax.

Myth 7: Slip-slop slap bang
This myth assumes that magnetic field around earth will get disturbed by sun’s radiation and this will overdue the poles of earth and will cause destruction of the planet. This overdue myth has no logical base as similar to the overdue eruption myth of super volcano. If such magnetic disturbance is likely to occur at 2012, then we could have experienced the disturbance in 2009. Are you experiencing any such disturbance in 2009?

These all myths are meant to stagnate thinking mind by introducing pessimistic thoughts. Such paranoid crap forum postings are meant to be deleted by moderators of social networks & forums. So if you come across any LHC related crap information then ask that poster about how authentic his information is. If anyone ever posted any such paranoid information on science or other forums, always look for names of scientists to check for authenticity which usually fails as such myth preachers give names as shot in the dark or to spread misinformation and enjoy the panic of people.
